The 2nd Brazilian Film Festival of New York honored the state of Bahia by taking to the greatest cultural center of the US one of the most beautiful voices of Brazilian pop music: Margareth Menezes.

Margareth showed her samba-reggae to the audience composed of Brazilians and Americans in a stage built especially for the Festival. The repertoire included regional songs from Bahia, some songs composed by Margareth and classics by the likes of Caetano Veloso and Pixinguinha.
