The Inffinito Brazilian Film Festival of Vancouver held in Canada first held in 2008, with a selection of short and feature films.

 

The festival is organized by the Inffinito Festival Circuit with the main aim to promote Brazilian cinematography in Canada.

 

Vancouver is considered the Hollywood of the North for its strong audiovisual industry. The Festival was held with the objective of approaching Brazilian professionals to the Canadian market. The Festival was based at the Vancity Theatre, one of the main cinemas in the city, with substantial audiences packing all screenings and related events.

 

The Inffinito Brazilian Film Festival of Vancouver contributed to the strengthening of the cultural ties between Brazil and Canada, and to the promotion of Brazilian cinema.
